The hard truth about anxiety: We need it! Anxiety encourages us to buckle up our seat belt, to look before we cross the road, and to study for a test. But we all have times when anxiety is harming us more than it is helping us. This can look like increased relationship conflict, racing thoughts, poor sleep, health issues, irritability, or just feeling like you are always worrying and not living. The good news is, therapy can help you develop a healthier relationship with your anxiety and develop tools to make it feel less overwhelming.

Women's Issues
Women have unique needs when it comes to mental health care. Hormonal changes can impact our mental health in a multitude of ways including pregnancy and post-partum depression and anxiety, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and perimenopause and menopausal changes. I enjoy helping women understand the social, emotional, hormonal, and physical impacts these life transitions can have on our mental health and quality of life.
